Did anybody have a long term headache that went away and came back with AZ?

My partner had the AZ vaccine three weeks ago and was quite poorly with a headache afterwards. A week later he went to the doctor and had bloods which were ok but need repeating due to some dodgy blood results he's had in the past. The headache eased about two weeks after the jab but he's woken up this morning to say it's back with a vengeance. If you're still reading, thanks! I'm wondering if anybody else who experienced a long term headache after the jab had it reoccur like this? Obviously it's happened on a Saturday so we can't ring the GP - typical!

DH had a headache that came and went a bit for around a month after the first jab. No issues after the second.

I get a lot of headaches anyway but I did seem to have more after the AZ vaccine. I have my second dose on Wednesday so will report back.

Headache for a few days after the jab then three weeks later a week long Headache.

I had a three week long headache within two weeks of my first vaccine. Nothing with my second

Me! Was very ill with the first jab. 40 degree temp and splitting headache for a week. The headache then stopped for nearly a week, and then came back in evil form. I went to gp at 4 weeks post jab and they shrugged their shoulders. It went at about 6-7 weeks.

Woke up every day with a headache for around a week after the first AZ vaccine. Have had my second dose today and am hoping to escape them this time.

I thought my head pain had lasted about 19/20 days but now I'm left often feeling like I'm about to get a headache. I think I'm over the 4 week mark too. I never used to be like this.

Yep same happened to me with my second dose. With my first I got flu like symptoms but was fine after 12 hours. After my second dose I got the worst headache of my life that lasted almost 2 weeks. It then went and came back a few days later and lasted another week. I also felt absolutely exhausted. I'm ok now thank goodness. I'm about 5/6 weeks post second vaccine.

While recovering from a virus a few years ago l started getting headaches. When they persisted l had an MRI but all clear so doctor said possibly post viral syndrome. Finally they went.
After getting my Astra Zeneca jab they came back which really knocked me back. Four weeks on they are nearly gone. I am actually dreading getting the second one. Most people l know had no fall out but l felt awful

I'm getting an intermittent headache for the last 3 weeks after the jab. I do get headaches, and this is similar to the jabbing pain over my eye when I have a migraine threatening. However it's about midway back at the top of my head, and a migraine doesn't develop from it.

I'm not sure whether it's stress, or down to the jab though as I've had a lot of things going on.

I had bad headaches for about 3 weeks after first jab, but have had no problems after the second. When i went for my second jab this week they asked about side effects after the first one and took my concerns very seriously , spoke to a Dr, checked my blood pressure etc before giving me second jab.

I had a week long headache just after the jab then on and off for around 3 weeks

Took codiene and paracetomol daily to try and dull it abit and even then the codiene only took the edge off.

It's only the last two weeks ive felt not heady so I'm dreading the second dose

Yes and headaches seem to be a side effect with the AZ vaccine. Mine did go eventually. Read the leaflet you get. Paracetamol is best, but if the headaches get really severe phone your GP or 111.

i have had the two jabs now and also had a lengthy consultation prior to my second as i have a history of blood clots

i choose to go head and they were very specific that between day 5 - 20 if i had a severe headache phone111 or go to hospital and stressed this very much

i dont want to scare but this was the information given to me
