How much would you think it would be to replace the pedal on a child's bike? My DD's has knackered today, all the bits inside have come loose and are bent! Wondering if it's too expensive I'm better just to get a new bike?

It depends on the damage. A pedal is cheap enough so providing the damage is to the pedal and not the threads you can replace it easily.
