Ushaw Moor, Durham county

I hope you're all safe!
A year ago I was asking about primary schools in Durham.
We have now purchased a house n Ushaw Moor and wanted to find out if anyone could recommend any of the schools in the village. There are 2 schools nearby: Silver Tree and St Joseph's.
We are ready to commute if we need. So looking at best options.
Also, As I am finishing my PGCE in a couple of weeks, where should I look for jobs? I had a look on tes and there aren't many jobs available in the area, for secondary MFL.

Can't comment on the primary school issue but given the time of year, if you need a job I'd apply for most things that are commutable and if it's not great look again next winter when most vacancies come out. I would say consider supply but not sure that would fulfil what you need fir your nqt year.
