Can you get yeast infections with only 1 symptom (pain during intercourse) last few times only (like a burning stinging pain) but no other symptoms, as in no pain during urination, no unusual discharge, no itching etc.

If so, what is the best medication to treat this and how long does it take to go away?

You need to get this checked out. Thrush is usually itchy to the point of eyeballing the bog brush and the discharge is quite distinctive.

Please call GP in the morning. Won't be anything to worry about, but it doesn't sound like thrush.

Yes, you can, but it could be a shed load of other things - hormone changes, infection, allergy - if you really don't want to go to the gp/ can't, get some canesten cream and use it for a couple of days, if you see a dramatic improvement then crack on with that, but if not, def need to get it checked out.
