I was googling for an electrician to sort out the electrics in my kitchen.

ALMIGHTY BANG.

Upstairs toilet cistern's fallen off the wall, while 11yo dd2 was on the toilet. FFS!

Contacted LL for the second time in a day, came back downstairs to "drip, drip, drip" from somewhere. Locate water bubble creeping it's way down living room wall right next to the light switches.

Clearly come through the bloody floor somehow when the cistern fell!

Couldn't make this shit up!

On holiday by the sea, dh has just gone out to get the teens and us a curry, ds has eaten and is now getting ready for bed. We’ve had a nice day out.
Sorry OP, I hope your dd wasn’t injured in the cistern incident and that it gets sorted quickly.

She seems uninjured; just shocked I think, more than anything else.

Currently my 13 yr old who has asd is yelling at me at top of her lungs from the loo because she wants my bedroom window shut and wants me off the pc and in my bed.

I am in fact trying to catch up on work. Boring data base stuff.

I have had to pause until she is in her room. 🙄

We're on holiday in our caravan, there's a country house in the grounds so we had a lovely evening sitting outside while the kids played with new friends they've made today, at 9.30 we called them over to say we were going and dd jumped from the play equipment banging her mouth on her knee and has broken her new bottom tooth clean in half.
There was lots of blood and tears but luckily she's fine now and saying it doesn't hurt.
