Hi lovely people in my phone.

DD(13)and I have just finished Schitts creek and Superstore. Absolutely loved them both. Simple, funny and short.

Can anyone recommend what to watch next? Had a really good browse but nothing catching my eye...
We have Netflix, and Now TV

Thank you so much 😊😊😊👍

Brilliant series.

Superstore? Brooklyn 99?

Kindlethefourth · 03/06/2021 18:39

Motherland. Queens Gambit.

ShirleyPhallus · 03/06/2021 18:39

The bold type is brilliant, but maybe a touch too much sex for a 13 year old

InescapableDeath · 03/06/2021 18:43

The us Office is great (I think some people don’t like the first season as it’s too similar to the uk one but it just gets better and becomes very different. Sentimental almost.)

Shrimpseyelashes · 03/06/2021 18:45

100% Parks and Recreation. Short, funny, feel good. Much like Schitts Creek.

Also love Motherland.

Ekerty72 · 03/06/2021 18:58

MostIneptThatEverStepped · 03/06/2021 19:04

And seconding Motherland!

mommybear1 · 03/06/2021 19:04

With Parks and Recreation you may want to skip season 1 it's a sloooooow burn but worth it!

Imicola · 03/06/2021 19:05

I second the good place, it's very funny!

Snozzlemaid · 03/06/2021 19:09

Modern Family.

Shrimpseyelashes · 03/06/2021 19:11

Yes, def agree that with Parks and Rec you need to get through season 1 but stick with it- it is absolutely worth it!

pigglepot · 03/06/2021 19:12

Grace and Frankie

AppropriateAdult · 03/06/2021 19:14

Your DD might be a good age for Never Have I Ever on Netflix - it’s Mindy Kaling’s latest project, I really enjoyed it.

Incidentally, I’ve never understood the hate for season 1 of Parks & Rec, I loved it from the very first episode Confused Whereas I’ve never managed to get beyond about three episodes of Schitts Creek; I really must give it another try...
