I think I will need some support in the next few months but I'm not totally sure what it's called.
I've had terrible mental health (abusive parents, PTSD) in the past and had proper support (CBT, CAT, PSTSD treatment) for that and don't think I need that kind of thing. I just have normal ups and downs emotionally.
Basically, I'm chronically ill and my health is quite variable. I have been well enough the last couple of years to take very part-time courses which has given me some beneficial structure. But I don't want to study for the next year, I want to pursue some personal goals.
BUT I am so terrible at being a self-starter. I find it v hard to break down my long term goals into 'what I want to achieve this week'. Partly because I am somewhat at the mercy of my health (and kids' needs) and partly because I just end up drifting if I don't have a focus.
So, is this the sort of thing a coach could help with? Like a personal trainer but for just... doing stuff.
