Fun things in York

Hi all!

Me and DH are going to York for our wedding anniversary next month, on the Friday night we are planning to go on a bit fo a bar crawl and exploring the city, but were looking to see if there is anything around that was a bit more fun than just sitting in a bar? (There’s only so many things we can find to talk about )

For example in Liverpool we have been to Bongo Bingo, Junkyard golf etc.

Any recommendations that still involves alcohol will be welcomed, thanks in advance!

There’s lots of ghost walks, and the river cruises might be running in the evening now.

We have booked The Hilt for the Saturday afternoon!
I’ll be dressed up on the Friday and didn’t fancy axe throwing in heels and a full face of make up
Same probably goes for the ghost walks too. Although May look into them a little more.

Valhalla - mead out of a drinking horn. Do a little walk of the walls and access Grays Court Hotel from the top. Looks beautiful with gardens near to the minister and the walls.

You used to be able to get a nice afternoon tea in the Rail Museum.

Valhalla is definitely on our list, it looks brilliant fun!
