Have you ever shot a real gun?

I don’t agree with lax gun laws like they have in America, but I am intrigued by the gun ranges they have there

I would love the experience of using a gun at a range like that.

A quick google shows there are shooting ranges in the U.K. so one day I might give it a go

So have you ever shot a gun?

Yes, in Zurich and it Riga.
It was fun!
In Zurich I was coming straight from work in a dress and heels, I’m sure I was ridiculous and my aim was crap…but I still enjoyed it.

Yes, shotguns, semi-auto pistols, relvolvers, AK-47 and my favourite, a Glock 17 modified to full auto. Great fun!

I went to a gun range in Texas with my friend who lived there when I was in my 20s. Thought it would be fun, actually hated it, hated the weight of the gun, the noise, the recoil, the fact I had a killing machine in my hands. Not for me!

Not me, no. But my daughter has just joined the marine cadets so she will.

I have been clay pigeon shooting once. I wasn't very keen. Not for me.

Yes. I was friends with an ex marine and he took me to a shooting range.
I didn't mind shooting a pistol. It felt more like a skill based thing - trying to hit the target accurately.
I HATED the rifle. I only shot it a couple of times and had to leave. I'm not usually a big cryer, but it made me well up and cry. The sheer force and destruction they are capable of scared me. Really scared me. And I couldn't stop thinking about all the people who've been murdered in mass shooting events who must have been terrified and in agony. It just totally fucked me up that these things were so easily accessible and in the wrong hands could be so damaging.
I had to leave.
