Does your online food shop allow you to..

Save a list of items you buy every week!

Tesco used to allow you to save shopping list but now I waste time every week entering the same 80 products and along with the general glitchy issues I’ve decided to change shops.

Sainsbury’s has a favourites list. Takes around 30 seconds to add the items I buy every week

Hardertobreathe · 02/06/2021 19:33

Asda seem to save everything I buy, I have no clue how to delete anything that I’ve bought as a one off so I have to Wade through hundreds of items in my “favourites” to look for items.

You have, however, reminded me that they have a shopping list, they also have a new ‘frequently purchased’ feature which is saving a bit of time.

I tried to switch to Sainsbury’s last week, it took too long so I went back to Asda.

You can just open a previous order on the app and select “add this order to basket”? Or add from your favourites.

Lizsmum · 02/06/2021 19:37

Ocado does. They call it 'regulars'
You can also save specific lists - e.g. 'what i buy at Christmas' and call those up when you want them.

Hazelnutlatteplease · 02/06/2021 19:37

Morrisons has an instant shop where you press a button and it automatically adds you most regularly bought bits and pieces

Oopsy41 · 02/06/2021 19:39

Tesco has a favourites and a usuals list so I do my shopping really quickly

shoofly · 02/06/2021 19:39

Tesco has a favourites and a usuals list. You can also just add a full previous shop to your basket if you go into your orders?

Isababybel · 02/06/2021 19:56

Asda has a favourites list and im pretty sure you can save previous orders as a standard list too.
However the favourites list is very glitchy and says things are out of stock or unavailable, but when you manually search them they are both available and in stock Hmm, and some items dont appear altogether and its only when ive gone to the checkout that a new 'have you forgotten' list appears and then i add about 10 more things that way!

Fitforforty · 02/06/2021 21:07

@Oopsy41 and @shoofly is there a way to edit them. I have nearly 600 items in my favourites and my usuals is missing lots of things I buy weekly.

I never use Tesco, but Waitrose and Asda, I click on my prevs orders and add to trolley and then adjust from there.

MayIDestroyYou · 02/06/2021 21:15

Yes, of course! Ocado has everything I've ever bought in a Favourites list, (unless I've removed the item from Favourites) but will also conjure up a curated list of things I regularly buy.

adsa has a regulars list as well as favourites, you can also look at previous orders and add them to current order

LongIslandIcedT · 02/06/2021 22:42

I like Sainsbury's for this, the favourites list is good. I pay £1 for next day delivery. Given a 4hr time slot but a text in the morning narrows it down to an hour.
