Does your partner say this back?

If you said to your partner that you miss him in text, would he say it back?

I don’t over use this but the last time I messaged him was last night, with a photo of the weekend and underneath ‘miss you.’ He didn’t respond until just now and has completely ignored my sentiment and photo.

We’ve been together a while and this is usual for him. Maybe I’m being sensitive?!

Does he always ignore it or is it a one off?

I would be too bothered if this was a one off. Continual failure to respond to messages I might.

maybe he saw it yesterday and thought "yeah, I miss you too" but didn't think it'd be important to reply.
maybe it's too clingy for him, maybe he is a knob, maybe he forgot to reply....

and yes, my husband does reply the same way.
but it's usually him who says it first, I can be quite "out of sight, out of mind" and if my phone is off I might not see it for ages and by then would feel weird replying "I miss you" on the next day
