Royal Ascot Ladies Day

Just after opinions - if you were going, would you go on Ladies Day with your DP or is every day pretty much the same?

I'd go on another day. I'd struggle to keep my opinions on some of the outfits to myself.

Ascot Ladies day is a great day and accept it for what it is , expect lots of pissed people not always at their best

I went to Ascot once and it involved hours of queuing with lots of posh people drunk on very expensive champagne in the middle of the day. Definitely an interesting experience but not one I would repeat voluntarily.

Name change fail...

I’d go to the king George meeting a month later rather than the royal meeting. Unless you’re in the posh bit (have to be invited, can’t buy those tickets) it’s crowded, limited facilities (cause they’ve fenced off most of it for the posh bit) and yes there are a lot of drunk men in shiny suits.

Go a month later you still can dress up and won’t look daft, it will still be busy and lots of atmosphere with lots of big name trainers and owners, but it’s just nicer.
