My daughter takes her driving test next week to start the day of the test. We’re taking out insurance now knowing we can cancel in the cooling off period if she fails the test. When we put in her licence details, we saw full licence and held fir less than 1 month? As that will be accurate on the inception date, presuming she passes?

Sorry that was meant to say taking insurance out now to start the day of the test

Take it out the day she passes otherwise that isn’t accurate as she doesn’t hold a full licence.
Insurance underwriters don’t like people putting inaccurate information down and use any excuse not to pay out.

Cheers @Hardertobreathe. The quote is valid for 21 days so that’s good advice. Plus prices might change again on a fresh quote that day!
