How long did it take to come?

Had my bag robbed on Saturday with all my card in, cancelled them on Saturday but now I have no access to any money, anyone know how long it takes, on line it says from 3-10 days I'm with tsb

You could go into a branch of tsb (if there are any left!) with ID and should be able to withdraw over the counter

Could you use your online banking to transfer money to a friend's bank account so that she can take the money out for you?

@dementedpixie I did think about that but it's a bit of a hassle, they only open for a couple of hours a day and parking is a nightmare around there and I have the kids with me but i might have to just do that

Mine took 3 weeks cos they told me they had cancelled it and hadn't. Ordered a new one and it came in 3 days

I called HSBC last Tuesday because my contactless bit of my card wasn’t working anymore (actually it hasn’t worked for about a year) and the chip was getting a bit dodgy and then a crack appeared at the edge of the card. New one arrived by Friday.
If you can get into your branch you would be able to withdraw cash with some ID.
Not particularly helpful with so many places refusing to take cash at the moment though...
Also not that helpful with my branch because it’s only been open 10-2 for months now and not at all at weekends so I wouldn’t be able to go at all!

I'm due a new one as the old one has expired so slightly different but there's no standard time as there are so many variables especially over a bank holiday

I assume you have no other accounts or credit cards, it's not a solution for now but I'd strongly suggest you get another way to access money for the future

There are lots of reasons you might not be able to use your card. Just this weekend when I was doing my food shop the whole MasterCard network was down and some people with full trollies couldn't pay for them

Send the money to someone else’s account via online banking then get them to withdraw it for you, problem solved.
