A friend and I are hoping to meet up with our kids tomorrow but our original plans have fallen through. Can anyone suggest somewhere along the M40 between London and Worcestershire that would entertain a mixture of kids aged 6-13 which might have availability for tomorrow/not need to be prebooked? Probably a long shot I know!

British Motor Museum just off the M40 at Banbury?

Blenheim Palace?

Blenheim Palace is a bit further off the M40 at Woodstock but you could probably get a grounds ticket although possible house sold out. Same with Waddesdon Manor potentially?

I looked at Blenheim but it looked very expensive! Motor Museum looks good though and has availability, that's a definite possibility.

There is also the Oxfordshire Museum and the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum both in Woodstock.

Blenheim is worth it if you can go more than once as it's a year pass you buy.

St Nicholas Park in Warwick is good - is that too far?
If you go to the motor museum, you could go to Burton Dassett or Compton Verney afterwards for a picnic.

Motor Museum booked, thanks all, I knew Mumsnet would have the answer!
