Once reported how long does it take mumsnet to delete a thread? Thanks all!

Depends what time it is and staff.

They might not delete it.

It depends why you reported it. As a pp said, it may not be deleted if they don't think it should be.

I expect they have to look at the reasoning first?

Child's name was mentioned accidentally??

If it was a post issue they might just edit it. Could take an hour or two on bh.

I've been on a reported your thread where you mentioned your child's name. MNHQ got back to me instantly and said they have amended the post.

They probably won't delete the thread, just the post in question. Or they may just edit the post to remove the name. It won't be instantaneous, especially if the report was made overnight. I think they still don't actually pay moderators overnight and rely on volunteers instead.
