I’d probably get rid of the pirate, but otherwise it’s just glorious!

It wasnt his actual house. It was just for guests.

@Cheermonger

That previous owner was the chap who gave all the dosh to Heart of England Forest . Fun fact there for you 🤣
Not true. He started the charity, didnt just give them money.

Pob13, did you know the owner or the house? Both seem fascinating!

That is horrible. I would love the pool, though.

I lived nearby, he was very well known. We have actually sold our family farm to the charity so that it can be planted with trees rather than built on.

Well I've never had a pool in my dining room and kitchen before with a bedroom next to it 🤣

But I could change the room layout and remove peg leg jake and make my peace with living there!

The kitchen is awful, it only has 2 bedrooms in the main house....on different floors so not practical. Lots of space wasted on pump rooms, boiler rooms, plant rooms. I like the space with the ships wheel. Pool area looks kind of nice but an odd shape, not practical for actually swimming in.....looks like the centre parcs paddling toddler pool.

Wow. I should be the one to get to have this house cos I absolutely love it.
I'd probably live in one of the cottages to be fair but could make a shitloads of money renting it out as a holiday home from easter to September.

It's wonderful
