Laryngitis and how to entertain DCs with no voice.

They are 10 and 7. I really can't speak at all and don't want to damage my voice further by whispering. But I've been working long hours (infant school teacher) and they deserve some fun this half term.

Cinema is booked for one day.
Granny taking them out another day.
Any other ideas for fun without me talking?!

I feel a bit grotty and tired but don't need to lie in bed all day. Happy to take them somewhere for a couple of hours. They can both read so I can write messages Grin

I remember having this and using my text voice thing on my phone! I don't know, the whole thing is pretty miserable. I guess just places where others will entertain them, or they can entertain themselves. Museums, parks, soft play, bowling, arcades.

They are old enough to do most things you would normally do without you talking surely? Take them to the park, the beach, soft play, Theme Park etc
