Feeling so high after AZ?!!!!!

This is so weird. I had first AZ a few weeks' ago and felt ... after a bit of tiredness ... amazing. Like, increased libido (through the roof), super energetic, on top of the world. I thought maybe just happy as now 70 % chance not going to die of the virus now.

So had second jab today. OMG. I felt within about 1 minute like I'd had some sort of very expensive hard drug injected into my vein (important note: I have never experienced this, but it was like immediately feeling so spaced out and happy and like heyyyyyyy ....).

Anybody else had this? Or am I just susceptible? (v possible)

Honestly I think you're giving the jab credit foy something more likely down to random hormones or the sun shining, but given most people catastrophise their post vax symptoms I'll give you the benefit of the doubt! Enjoy your high libido either with your partner or alone!

You really need to log a yellow card if you have side effects such as the vaccine made you horny 🤣

It sounds like you experienced euphoria (actually a 'thing' as side effects go). That should definitely be reported.

Really? I still feel pretty nice now. After the first one it just seemed to kind of change me in a good way. I was thinking just maybe all psychological but after the second one really am thinking maybe there is a link?

Had exactly same thing after dose 1. Really looking forward to dose 2!

I’ve been a quite horny after my Pfizer last week, DP is not complaining!

I put it down to the stress being lifted.

I was the same after my first jab-initial instant sleepiness but after a few hours had more energy than I had for ages which lasted for a few days!!! Can’t wait for the second jab!

I've calmed down a bit now but still feel lively!

I slept for 9:hours after mine, my friends DH was exactly like you and she ended up having a very nice time apparently.

Friend of mine in her sixties mentioned this exact thing to me a few months back!

I had two good ones
First jab had brilliant dream beating O'Sullivan 42-4 (felt buzzed for a week after) second jab had fat arm and trippy mood, still up
secretly hoping for a booster in autumn

It could be the effects of the physical injection maybe?

I always have had a reaction to vaccines but not like this.
Not that I'm complaining ofc but I feel a fraud when everyone else has suffered!

Almost immediately after having the AZ jab I felt a bit wobbly and dizzy. However I put it down to adrenaline. Then I had typical flu like symptoms overnight but by the next afternoon I felt much better and was just really tired cos I'd had a bad night's sleep. Feel totally normal now 😊

Huh. I felt tired for a few days but also very, very happy and positive and chatty immediately after the jab.

Wondering now if that was “a thing” rather than just — as I assumed at the time — the relief of finally getting it done and feeling a bit safer 🤔

Actually on a more serious note: I think it has changed (increased) my metabolic rate and has made me generally a bit different mentally.

Hmm. Feels a bit weird thinking it might have done that. :(
