Community Group closing -advice wanted

Wanting advice for how to go about this: a community group I have been chair of the committee, for a couple of years , I no longer have the time and motivation to help to run the group. The membership and volunteering input has dwindled, partly because i and other members haven't had the time to give to keeping things going and finding new members. Another key committee member also is resigning from the committee soon. I can't see how the group can continue. Anyone who has been through winding down of a group I,'d be grateful to hear of your experiences .
Slightly complicated guilty feelings and feelings of failure that I've not done a good job in my role and that there are no new committee members to take over.

Hmm. I imagine this has been unanswered because its very specific. But this will bump for you anyhoo. Do you have a facebook group you could use to get some feedback on it? Would you be able to have a covid compliant meeting in a coffee shop or somewhere to discuss it? Otherwise, it might seem the group has just been abruptly stopped, and people don't know what going on? I would aim for a solution that gives it the neastest ending possible, iuswim.

Thanks for your reply, I decided to keep going for a while and had three new members join from some Facebook promotion. I'll see how it goes...
