Random musing, I promise I am an adult.

Do your trousers/ leggings/ jogging s etc fall down because they're too big or too small??

Told you it was random!

I'm continuing to lose weight after having my DS so my clothes are a mixture of sizes.

But I'm having trouble with the bottom half, post baby I was a size 14 I'm now a 12 and aiming to get back to my pre baby 10. Both the above sizes are uncomfortable in that I have to keep adjusting and hoiking up throughout the day.

Does this mean they're to big or too small??

Thanks all.

Again, I promise I am an adult just maybe not a very good one! 😉

I think it can be down to either situation.

I like belts 😆

Leggings and belts could be a new look perhaps! 🧐 😁

I think if the top rolls down they are too small but if they slip down they are too big.

Mine all roll down 🤣

Not a pretty visual but I end up with a droopy crotch area. 🙈

I was also wondering this...

I was thinking too large if they’re slipping down. I seem to own trousers in lots of different sizes - I’m now back in ones I haven’t been able to wear for awhile but others that have been comfy are now slipping down

Hfjshdhs · 29/05/2021 11:55

I think it’s more a reflection of the quality of the leggings rather than your size (though well done on the weight loss!).

TickTockBaby · 29/05/2021 11:56

Thank goodness @capercaillie, I thought I may be laughed off Mumsnet for my lack of adulting ability! 😁

I was thinking perhaps too big but then I wondered if it was because I was trying to squeeze too much flesh into them.

I don't want to spend any more money on clothing until I'm at a weight I'm comfortable with so don't want to keep buying the wrong sizes.

@Hfjshdhs good point! Although I find it with all of the items I'm wearing, mixture of high street and cheapo supermarket stuff.

Maybe I'm buying the wrong materials?

Also thank you 🙂

Also finding it with different types of leg wear. It’s a complete pain as I seem to be in between sizes...

Or the wrong shape
