Check out this glorious set of templates I found today

I'm probably definitely extremely childish but I felt like mn deserved to share in the joy. Was charging up my ancient shaver to do my bikini line and discovered that it came with these templates in case you wanted to unleash your creative side on your topiary. Did anyone actually use these??! And how, for the love of god, even with a plastic template, was this even possible? I feel like it was probably around 20 years ago that I bought it. Perhaps the fashion for shaving it all off actually came about after a failed attempt at crafting the perfect pubic butterfly...My fave is 100% the classy down arrow though.

Anyway it's given me a good chuckle today and I thought it might amuse.

I did almost post this in style and beauty Grin

Oh good gracious 🤣

The arrow!

The question is, which will you go for??

DotsandCo · 29/05/2021 11:18

🤣👏🤣👏

Bloody love these!! 🤣👌🏻

This thread is hopefully about to be deleted as I had a name change fail but am not sure I trust myself to execute any of these without some serious carnage resulting!

They even have names for the designs. The arrow is 'follow me' the butterfly is 'Freedom' and the crown is 'Royal Feeling' Grin

At least the line will mean your landing strip is neat and tidy, no wonky lines for you. 😂

Ladyshaver · 29/05/2021 11:29

The worrying thing is that at the time I bought this set I probably thought the templates were a great idea Blush I don't remember actually trying any of them out though.

We've sorted your name change now, OP.

And bagsying the crown, if that's okay. Smile

takingmytimeonmyride · 29/05/2021 11:37

Amazing. I did not know these were a thing. Grin I feel like this is a fashion that needs to come back. After you OP.....

Ladyshaver · 29/05/2021 11:39

Would combining these designs with a vajazzle be too much? Ponders....

Thanks Dawnmumsnet

Oh. My. Word

Did it also come with dye's so you could change the colour? Maybe a blue butterfly or a golden crown???

schroeder · 29/05/2021 11:46

How are they held in position? Velcro?Grin

Mumdiva99 · 29/05/2021 11:48

The funniest post ever!!! Please report back after trying them. I can't even begin to imagine how it would work.....

Does it only work with a shaver or can you put them in the middle of wax for a similar effect?

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2021 11:50

Do the arrow sideways ⬅️➡️

Ladyshaver · 29/05/2021 12:03

I'm imagining a YouTube instructional video on how to use the templates.

The thought of using dye down there is actively making me wince!

What designs would you like to see added to the range? A big x for when sex is deffo off the cards? A rainbow as a tribute to the NHS?......

Love the sideways arrow idea Grin

Stichintime · 29/05/2021 12:15

Do you have a friend who could help?

JaneJeffer · 29/05/2021 12:18

@Stichintime you must have some very good friends Grin

Ladyshaver · 29/05/2021 12:59

A good friend helps you do your hair, a great friend helps you shave your pubes into a heart shape Grin

I could use those on my legs 😅

MrsAudreyAlfredRobertsOBEHmm · 29/05/2021 13:49

Do you have to sellotape them in place to get an accurate outline ? 😂 That would be really sexy

Ladyshaver · 29/05/2021 14:23

Coco it's been long enough since I've trimmed that it was a toss-up between using the shaver or the garden strimmer Blush
