Strange mark on daughters eye

Noticed this weird mark on my daughters eye. She's been rubbing it a little but not very much and it's not blood shot which seems a little strange. Anyone have any idea what it could be? She had bad constipation last night so I wondered whether it could be a broken blood vessel but when I Google pictures they look a lot more diffused than her mark which has very defined edges...

Sorry the picture is bad, very difficult to get a clear picture. It's the little red mark at the bottom of the white of her eye.

A bit of a late reply op. But did you ever find out what this was? My daughter has something similar!

I'm not certain but I think it must have just been a broken blood vessel as it disappeared within a day or two.

Glad it went away. My daughters is being much more stubborn!

I'd get an optician to have a look at it if I were you. I emailed an optician with the picture and she said to just bring her in for a check if it hadn't gone by the time I'd got the email (I emailed over the weekend so there was a delay in replying)

I had that once - it was huge and looked like I’d been punched in the eye. It took a few days to do and I was at the doctors and mentioned it - she said it wasn’t anything to worry about. I don’t think I had rubbed or banged it (it just came up overnight).
