Just wondered your thoughts? I’ve finished so don’t want to give too much away to those who haven’t.
How have you found it compared to other series? I just love Fargo! X

We tried to binge watch but toooo many advert breaks so have gone back to recording it and watching weekly. I think it's quirky in an odd way (what is it with the nurse!) and we're enjoying it partly because it's so unpredictable. I'm confused as to why it's part of the Fargo series though - unless that becomes clear nearer the end? Anyway, will bookmark this to get any updates but not spoilers 😅

I’m glad I persevered as to me the last 2 episodes were 👍🏻👍🏻. Found some bits confusing and got a bit lost in parts but the ending made up for all that IMO X

@AbsolutelyPatsy- the general reviews aren’t great and I probably wouldn’t have watched it if I’d read them first but I can’t resist Fargo. I think the whole concept is brilliant and I love the quirkiness x

i love it normally so will give it a go

I loved it!

I've watched Gomorrah and Suburra and loved seeing actors from that pop up, also always like watching Jason Schwartzman and Timothy Olyphant.

Jessie Buckley is always amazing.

I too found it quirky and enjoyed the final few episodes a lot.

AbsolutelyPatsy · 29/05/2021 07:54

I love Jesse Buckley

Have watched a couple of episodes but struggling . Assumed I was being dense because I'd see a scene and have no idea of what was going on . And then the action would backtrack and it would be explained .

I prefer to understand stuff as it happens ,not to be constantly thinking I've missed something/am an idiot .

MissGendered · 29/05/2021 08:22

Yes I agree it was far too over complicated.

It's very different from the other series. Much more dark and stylish. It had some brilliant moments though like the exchange with the man putting up the billboard. I enjoyed it but felt it did lose its way a few times in the middle. The acting was superb though and had some brilliant characters.

Kate3150 · 29/05/2021 08:28

Are we thinking a series 5? X

Didn’t know there is a 4th season!
Love love Fargo, we’ve rewatched first two seasons recently.

Kate3150 · 29/05/2021 14:54

@queenofarles- I found out by pure chance there was a season 4. Don’t think it was particularly advertised that well.
It definitely has a different vibe from the other 3 seasons. X

I've tried to watch a couple of episodes because Ive been mildly obsessed by Andrew Bird for years but...I can't get into it I'm afraid.

I'll stick to listening to AB's amazing music I think.

MaxNormal · 03/07/2021 21:29

I've just finished it. Agree it felt different and more of a slow burner but the last two episodes were superb.
So many brilliant actors as well, agree with PP about enjoying seeing actors from Gomorrah and Suburra in it.
