I’m day 6 of ending a 10 year relationship, already on the gin.

Anyone fancy entertaining me on my 1st weekend alone?

Sitting in the hammock in the garden, waiting for fosterling 1 to get home and ordering a new mattress for fosterling 2 who might be joining us next week.

When DH gets home we will be drinking champagne to celebrate 6 days of marriage, the end of his first round of chemo and the fact that he beat the medics six months to live prediction

Congratulations @bloodywhitecat on your marriage, but I'm sorry to hear your dh is unwell. I hope he continues to defy the predictions for a time to come yet.

My dd and I are going away for the weekend. She will be staying with her boyfriend and his parents, I will be staying in a nearby hotel.

Tomorrow DD's boyfriend and I are both having tattoos, and tomorrow evening I will be meeting his parents for the first time when we all go out to dinner.

Not sure what the plans are for the rest of the weekend but I'm excited to go away - haven't spent a night out of the house since 2019!

We've just had tea & dd1 is about to brew. I've had a glass of wine to celebrate a glowing review at work, and probationary contract being made permanent. It's only an extra hour a day but it made my day 😊

We all have some sweets for later, I plan to eat mine in silence while crocheting a bunny for one of dd2's classmates. The girls will likely Minecraft with friends, or watch Minecraft twitchers :)

Just had a bubble bath, can’t sit in the garden due to recurring solar keratosis.

Absolutely nothing planned for the weekend.

We’re having a weekend away, Grandma asked if she could have my little boy for the weekend, she didn’t have to ask twice.

We’re in Yorkshire in our little camper, we’re not doing anything tonight apart from eating and being slobs. I have to head home tomorrow to play rugby, after that we’re having a spa day (not entirely sure how I feel about that). Sunday we’re going to dinner with friends and hopefully going to the coast. Monday we’re going to a pottery class before we go home, that will most likely be a disaster so I hope our teacher is extremely patient 😂
