I’ve never seen an Ant and Dec programme. What have you never done?

Inspired by a reference on another thread. I don’t really understand what Ant and Dec do because I haven’t seen them since they were singing as PJ & Duncan, so I don’t get the reference.

I also haven’t seen Star Wars, so I had a surprise one week a few years ago when Radio Four named a programme “I’ve never seen Star Wars” like that was strange or something.

What cultural things have passed you by?

I've never seen :
Games of thrones
Kardashian's
Love island
Lion king

Nor read Harry Potter or Lord of the rings

Probably many more must read/ watch things that everyone raves about.

I also haven’t seen Star Wars. Feels good to get it out .

No I haven’t seen Game of Thrones either. I felt like the only person in the country at one point. Glad to see there’s a few of us.

Downtown abbey, call the midwife, line of duty, strictly come dancing, kardashians, Harry Potter, Star Wars, James Bond, marvel, game of thrones... so much stuff I’ve never watched even 3 minutes of!
In terms of cultural things, I’ve never been to the ballet or the opera and I hate art galleries/most museums (although I have been to some!).

@RickiTarr Well, not within me, I'm in my 50s now (we adopted). It's just too personal to ask of anyone else though, maybe if I get to be a GM some day.

In terms of high culture, I went to the ballet once and swore never to be dragged there again, and I’ve stuck to that. I love opera, though.

Ditto. I've never seen most 'reality shows' or watched Coronation St. etc Only watched Star Wars during lockdown. Never taken drugs or bought a round in a pub (I've ordered drinks with food I guess but never gone out just to go drinking & ordered at a bar).

What kind of things run over a week and why are you boycotting them?

We don’t have live telly any more and the ITV app annoys me so I don’t use it very often.

The list of popular TV programmes I have never watched would be almost endless, but it’s fair to say that if it features Ant & Dec, Simon Cowell, Phil and/or Holly or dancing or the word ‘celebrity’ in the title, it would be on the list.

I’ve never seen a single episode of Friends.

@RickiTarr can't think what it was called, but watched one a few weeks ago, they dropped the last episode. so can't be doing with it now. also they always seem too dragged out.
