Is Clubcard Plus Worth Having?

DD12 has just started a contract with Tesco Mobile & I can get 6 months of Clubcard Plus for free. Is it worth having?

I would take it for free, provided there are no subscription commitments. There isn't a chance I would pay for it.

I pay for it but then I make sure I do two biggish shops each month in Tesco and usually get at least double the subscription back with my 10% off. Last week my shopping was £136 so I got 10% back that time and you get two 10% codes a month for £7.99.

I never go in store so it's of no interest to me.

I've got the 6mths free its been brilliant. Def take it then just cancel before renewal.

Yep me too. I definitely do 2 shops at least £40 each (which would be £4 off each time), so that covers the £8 fee. Often my shop is over £100 so I might save 2 lots of £10 per month. Plus certain things (own brand nappies and baby clothes) are always 10% off. I definitely get my £8 worth. It’s free it’s absolutely worth it!!

Probably should have said ‘IF it’s free...’ to be fair.

We do all of our shopping at Tesco normally so worth it for us, I guess it depends if you go there! If it’s free then why not try? Nothing to lose

Can I just ask, does the discount only work on Tesco own brand stuff?
