One of my ds's works on a building site so has permanently muddy shoes which he leaves outside the front door. And then there are the rest of the dc's muddy walking shoes, trainers etc.
I used to have a silver metal container with a lid (now I come to think of it, I don't know what that container was actually for!). It looked ok but wasn't airtight so lots of damp shoes!
Any ideas as to what I can have outside the front door that stores all the muddy stuff but looks ok at the same time?
