We aren't going away this year so have instead decided to try and book a load of days out and activities. Our little boy will be 2 in August so looking for suggestions of things you have really enjoyed.

Doesn't have to be a big thing, even your best soft plays etc. We are based in Salford/ Manchester so small things in that area but happy to travel for one offs or big days out.

So far we have Chester zoo, Geronimo, Thomas at the East lancs railway and Dino world

Farm fest at reddish vale farm
Smithills (lovely ice cream!)
Windmill farm- the little train is always a hit
Farmer Ted's- great outdoor play
Cheshire ice cream farm

We also really enjoy Eureka in Halifax, Otterspool play in Liverpool and Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire OaksSmile

Ooh I loved Eureka as a kid. Would you say there is enough for a 2 year old or would we be better doing that in a couple of years? Will defo have a look at the others too. Thanks

Thanks. Do most trampoline parks have toddler areas? I'm sure he would love it but if not I'd probably be worried about him getting in the way of bigger kids and maybe getting hurt?

Underwater street in liverpool

Lego land and the aquarium at Trafford have toddler days during the week heavily discounted so are worth doing.
Worsley woods are great for a day out as is Clifton Park (on the way back visit milk maids ice cream farm)
Brockholes and Haigh Park are great play areas which have bits for a 2 year old.
Also if you get the chance visit imagine that in Liverpool, we love it there. Such an easy day out and the staff are wonderful

There is a Facebook group called Happy Days Out which is centred around Greater Manchester/ North West and has every single day out imaginable, and all the special events. They will have some great suggestions for you
