How long to deep clean a 3 bed room semi?

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of finding a cleaner for our home. Initially, I want the house to have a deep clean and will probably find someone on TaskRabbit to do that. Afterwards, I will try to find a regular cleaner, which seems to be quite difficult to find a good and reliable cleaner.

Anyway, how long do you think it would take to deep clean a smallish 3 bed room semi?

Depends what you're starting from and how much stuff you have.

If it's quite clean now it will obviously take a lot less time than if its not been cleaned properly in a long time.

Likewise with clutter etc. If you only have the basic furniture and it's tidy, it's a different proposition to if every surface is covered in nick knacks and you need a good clear out.

Cleaning agencies often list deep clean task lists on their websites, so you can have a look if that's what you are thinking of.

Took me about 10 hours including a couple of trips to the dump (40 minutes each) to deep clean my empty BTL, which hadn't been trashed but hadn't been kept clean either.
