Dental Implant

Has anyone had a dental implant recently? Through no fault of his own my son needs one single implant. He has been quoted £2,500 -£3000 which I feel is horrendously exensive but just wondered if this was the norm?

Friend of mine has been quoted £4K for hers and she needs more than oneShock.

At the risk of upsetting you another friend has just had one done in Spain privately for just over 1k euros.

Oh my that’s a lot. I just feel for my son as he is early twenties and doesn’t have a lot of money though we’ve offered to pay some. His teeth were very gappy as a child so he had braces to create one space for the implant. Didn’t realise at the time it would be so expensive. He has a fake tooth in place at the moment but it is quite noticeable. If it weren’t for COVID I’m sure he’d think about Spain.

I got a front upper done 4 years ago, cost about £1800 and 200 for the extra bone stuff. Bil got one at roughly the same time but in Marbella for €500, I nearly cried!
