Help with new phone please

Hi
I just got a Nokia 1.4 and have ballsed up putting the SIM in. The card tray went back in not quite right and now won't open. I don't want to damage it further by trying to remove it aggressively.

Any tips? I am hopeless with phones but when I looked at the SIM tray, it didn't look quite right.

The phone seems quite happy except it can't recognise the SIM.

Do you have any of those mobile repair shops nearby or a branch of carphone warehouse.
If you go in they may be able to help for a small cost

Thanks I'm guessing if attempted repair is visible, it can't be retirned.

I just thought there might be an easy fix but now I see I just have to contact giff gaff. Wish me luck!

They have the tools that can open up phone properly.
I suppose it would be a repair but if you don't want to return phone would be the best way to get a quick fix

No, it's okay...apparently it will take 5 working days for my query to be dealt with, but if it's faulty, I need my money back.

I agree but wasn't sure if it was something you had done by accident when you put sim in so it got stuck.
