I bought one yesterday on a whim, haven't had pomegranate for years and years, I mainly remember it being a huge pita to pick each kernel out with a cocktail stick. There must be an easy way, surely?

Cut in half, hand over the open side and whack the shell with a spoon, over a bowl.

Don't do this whilst wearing white - it stains like a fucker.

Bash them out. Very satisfying.

Yep, I came on to say the same thing.
You can buy packs of just the seeds or whatever they are called, but they are more expensive.

Yes - I use a wooden spoon. Stops the shell from collapsing

Ooo that sounds fun! Thanks!

Under water or outside - bashing always creates a massive mess for me

Put the bowl in the kitchen sink. That way it's lower down and any flyaways hit the side of the sink and not you

I just bought 2 this morning as they were on for 49p each in Lidl! I just cut through the middle and then pop out what I can and manually remove the rest. It’s a big job.

This sounds like the start of a joke Grin
