I've got an appt at 1pm with a family support worker. I'm nervous!! What do I say to her?

Why have you been assigned her? Are you struggling with one of your children, have school referred, do you have any kids with SEND or an Ehcp? Basically what is the issue and I can help you more 😁👌

I had a wobble last week over my 3 year olds behaviour basically. I was sent to the crisis team due to MH issues. Now everything is back to normal although I'm off work sick. Basically I'm the main parent and his dad works shifts so never has him regularly. That's the issue but i dont see how she can change it ?

Ask what support you can access to give you a break - Nursery funding, Homestart etc. And any help with Parenting/behaviour management techniques. They cannot help with ex taking more responsibility though, even if that is part of the issue.

She will be able to make sure you’re getting everything you are entitled to and also help with either parenting via surestart or something like that, or she will help you if you think your 3yo behaviour is something that external agencies might be able to help with diagnosis etc
