Baby formula and breastmilk

Heyooo,

I have a 4 week old, how is on a combo diet of breast milk and formula due to my supply not being enough for the greedy hippo. We have started him on aptamil 1 and he was ok for the first few days but I have now noticed he has become very sicky and spitting up milk that is curdled,

I have tried him on hungry baby cow and gate and that was a poop explosion

I’m just wondering if this is normal or what other formulas you guys suggest that have a less sicky effect

I would’ve kept going at the apitimil but with the ready mades not with powder. That way it’s already in liquid form and less likelihood of the curdling being to do with the mixing of the powder.

Stick with first infant formula, any brand. Don’t bother with the hungry baby formula because he’s too young to be artificially filled up, it’s normal for him to wake and feed frequently. The curdling is part digested milk, highly unlikely anything to do with the powder. Having some possets and vomits is normal.
