Holiday balance overdue but not been chased

We booked a family holiday for August 2020 which we then moved to August 2021 due to the pandemic. We've only paid a deposit and the balance was due at the beginning of May but I haven't received any communication to pay the balance yet.

It's with Tui. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and whether they aren't chasing people for the balance due to the current uncertainty? Or if they have somehow missed me off the chasing list.

Holiday is to a Greek island and still unsure if we want to pay the balance or move it to 2022.

I'm not sure about Tui, but some holiday firms will not chase you.

If you don't pay on time, you lose your booking and deposit/money already paid.

It's up to you to pay on time.

I would check to see if they've cancelled you.

As PP says, they don't have to chase.

Have you checked your booking online? There have been lots of posts in here about cancelled holidays as ops didn't think to check and just waited to be asked for the money
That said I worked for tui years ago and I can't see them not chafing

I have checked online and my booking is still there. It also says that they won't cancel your holiday without contacting you first.

I have been on hold to Tui for about 4 hours in total over the past few days and can't get through to discuss my booking. There are a few things I want to check before I pay the balance but I can't get through to them.
