When did your DC stop having that yummy baby smell?

DD is 7 months, the way her little head has always smelled is my favourite thing! Smile But she’s changing so fast and I wonder how long she’ll have it for, esp as I’d want her grandparents (overseas, never met due to COVID) to experience this. How long did the yummy baby smell stay with your baby?

My baby still smells lovely now and she’s 7! Maybe not the new baby smell, but her head still has a distinctive smell that I find addictive Grin

Dd still smells delicious and she’s nearly 5 Grin I don’t think they start smelling less lovely until they’re stinky teens.

I can’t remember that lovely sweet baby smell.

Mine are 6 and 8 and I can’t smell anything but hair when I try and sniff their heads Sad

To me babies just smell a bit like gone off milk - I never understood that lovely smell thing.

@Tal45 @chillibeansauce I should add mine makes up for the nice head smell with some toxic gas and poo-nami’s on the other end! Grin @Ostryga yes here’s hoping it sticks around until stinky teen years Wink

Me too! I thought DS smelled a bit sweaty and of sour milk with an undercurrent of vomit most of the time.

DS is 24 months now and he smells much nicer :)

They don't smell like babies for long, but mine still have a distinctive smell that's very "them" and which I love. They're 9 and nearly 7.

My eldest still smelt of that sweet baby smell when he was 3!

My middle son never had a smell (which I was gutted and cried about)

And my 2 year old still smells pretty awesome.
