How can I be more assertive ( and less pissed off) by jobsworths

This morning I encountered some completely unnecessary jobworthness. I had to go to appointment and I am in a wheelchair atm, so I have to use the alternative access, then I'm abruptly told I cannot come in to reception that way I must enter from the left due to Covid. There is nobody else there, a big open space. To enter from the left door I have to wheel pass where I am and turn to wheel back the same bloody way just to approach from the left. I think they actually wanted me to go out the normal sort and come back in again, but I couldn't fit back out anyway. And it's sodding ridiculous. I just can't stand it, I don't want special treatment, but I can't fit through the door or go up the steps. Covid has sent people insane and given the jobsworths a power trip. But like the lemon I am I attempt to "access from the left." What would of been a polite way to say sod off, instead of muttering under my facemask.
