Hungry after a bereavement. Is it normal

Hi all. Suffered a significant bereavement on Saturday and my god I’m hungry. Normal weight snd quite controlled with eating normally but a big rumbling tummy all the time!
It’s not even comfort eating - sugar etc - just starving! Is this normal ? Does it pass?

Everything is normal at this point Flowers

I’m sorry for your bereavement

I am sorry for tour loss Flowers

Everyone will react differently. I imagine the hunger is a reaction to the adrenaline and stress hormones and probably pretty common.

I'm sorry for your loss, I agree anything is normal. When my mum died I remember one afternoon eating a full Boursin cheese then contemplating going to buy another one. At the moment if your body wants food feed it
