Little acts of rebellion

I'm going to start this off by saying I have been the most COVID compliant person on the planet, plus I'm double jabbed (and yes, I am aware that this doesn't make me bomb proof).

I am so fed up of restrictions now, as I'm sure many are, that I'm finding little acts of rebellion against the rules to make myself feel better and take back some control of my life. This morning I smuggled in a sweat towel to my gym class even thigh they're technically not allowed 'because COVID' - ridiculous rule, makes me angry. I also walked out of the class and through the gym with no mask on because my face was all sweaty and I didn't want to make it worse. Approx half our members and some of the instructors now seem to be ignoring the mask rule.

Does anyone else feel like this and what little acts of rebellion are you doing?

Maybe you should exercise at home if you don't like putting a mask on your sweaty face Hmm

I have little ways of rebellion, but in this new brave world we live in, I’d rather not list them than get torn apart by dementors on MN.

I was going to say what @Muddydoor said. Covid humour is NOT allowed.

Thought there would be more people like me, especially given the low level of mask wearing at my gym - clearly not on MN!

There are. We're just not telling. Grin

You have to wear a mask at the gym? Come on, you're having a laff now

Only to walk through the gym - not whilst exercising. So it's ok to huff and puff on the treadmill maskless, but when you walk out, not huffing and puffing, you have to wear one. It's rules which make zero sense I have a problem with. Oh and sweat towels are apparently a COVID risk as someone could pick it up accidentally. But a discarded hoody or whatever is ok. Hmm
