I’ve just noticed this rash on dd’s back and the back of her neck. Any ideas what it is?

They look like herald spots for pityriasis.

Thank you, they’re not itchy or anything. They’re brown and flat. I can’t feel anything when I run my fingers over them

I wouldn’t have even noticed them as she usually washes her hair herself but wanted me to do it tonight

Could be ringworm (it’s a fungal infection, not an actual worm)

Looks a bit like a fungal infection. DH had a similar

Thank you both, I think I’ll by some a anti fungal cream and see if that helps.

Selsun or Selsun blue shampoo( Can just be rubbed on the body) is good for fungal infections. My doctor recommended it.

Hope it clears up soon Smile

If it is a fungal infection, it’s worth putting towels, bedding, and anything that might’ve touched the area through a hot wash - the little fungi can be tenacious!
