'If you are a low income household' university funding

So I'm looking at going back to university and will get a bursary with the course but that isn't enough to keep us afloat so I'm looking at the extra bursaries you can get but they basically all say 'if you are a low income household' but it never tells you what low income is.

Does anyone know what the income limit would be?

I can't apply till I know I can afford it but can't apply for bursaries till I've been accepted!

(I'm in Scotland if that makes a difference)

At my uni you count as low income if there is less than £25k a year going into the household.

Hi im a mature student studying at a Scottish Uni and im entitled to a loan and tuition fees only. As DH's salary is below around £34k a year, I'm entitled to a loan of £6250 per year.
