ScabberPig · 22/05/2021 07:47

Getting it in a month's time but from Monday I am hitting the gym and will soon be on a liquid diet for prep.

So I'm giving my self this weekend to have a feast.

What would you have?

Please bore off if you're going to be rude

Um, what you think you can be rude to me but I have no right of reply?

That’s not the way it works. You started it. I’m happy to come back at you.

Aspiringmatriarch · 22/05/2021 14:41

I wasn't rude. Anyway, I think I'll leave it there as this now has nothing to do with OP's thread.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 22/05/2021 15:14

@ScabberPig

Oh dear. Didn't intend this to turn into a nasty thread.

Just wanted to know what your last meals would be.

Sigh.

Just be glad you didn't start this thread at the start of lockdown OP - half the people would be complaining about you eating rich food, and the other half would be complaining about you going out to buy it Grin

I'm not going to sit here and justify why I need this surgery, why I don't just carry on losing weight naturally if I've lost 16lbs or why I want to have a takeaway before I can't ever eat a full takeaway again. That wasn't why I started this thread.

I am genuinely touched that Internet strangers are so invested in my health and weight. It is truely, truely touching Grin

Pizza. Definitely! A really good one from a proper Italian pizzeria if you’ve got one nearby. That’s your lunch sorted. Then a really good steak, with your choice of favourite dessert.

Good luck to you on your journey going forward!

Aspiringmatriarch · 22/05/2021 15:21

You don't need to justify it OP, you're fine. Good luck with your surgery.Smile

😃😃😃😃 respect!

Op have the takeaway and enjoy every mouth full.

takemetomars · 22/05/2021 15:25

@NakedBanana

Doughnuts and Coke.

You'll never be able to enjoy them again.

Not true for everyone. I have a sleeve and can eat anything
Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 22/05/2021 15:27

Good luck on your surgery OP. I’d have a big fat takeaway most likely Chinese and nice pudding apple crumble and cream to wash it all down.

SilverOtter · 22/05/2021 15:27

A massive steak with peppercorn sauce, chunky chips, onion rings and greens. Wine. Cheesecake.

And now I'm hungry😂

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 22/05/2021 15:29

I was about to ask if there was any way you could continue doing what you are doing as it seems to be working and obviously means no lifetime of deprivation.
That being said, you're right, you don't have to justify anything, so I'll just wish you lots of luck !

DeadButDelicious · 22/05/2021 15:29

I'd have a five guys bacon cheeseburger and chocolate milkshake, with cheesy chips from my favourite takeaway.

And a nice Sunday roast the day after. With a lovely dessert, probably sticky toffee or something.

Well done on losing 16lb and good luck for your op. Smile

Nsmum14 · 22/05/2021 15:37

I wish you all the best with the surgery when it comes! Also, I'm sorry a handful of people are being so nasty, it's really uncalled for. I'll never understand the need to cause harm, just because you can. Ignore the haters, they probably have lots of problems they're not dealing with, so compensate by bullying.
Have whatever you fancy and enjoy it. If it were me I'd probably eat lots of peanut and other nut butters. As others have said, you are likely to be able to go back to the foods you enjoy, in small amounts, once you are recovered.

Sunny4876 · 22/05/2021 15:42

I'm just jealous you're getting a sleeve Grin

I have binge eating disorder and have spent 26 of the last 45 years yoyoing from overweight to morbidly obese.
Good luck op for your op and thoroughly enjoy whatever meal you choose.

A very similar situation for me and its not an easy decision. It will be a lot of hard work but worth it in the long run, hopefully.

Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Brownie ice cream.
Brown bread, butter & homemade jam.
Avocado with a poached egg on toast.
If you drink coffee I'd have one from your favourite place and an oatmeal flapjack.
Best of luck with it 🍀
I am a diet coke addict and have had some success with substituting water with ice, slice of lemon and shake of salt for that refreshing feeling. If you will be allowed that after your surgery.

Tootyfilou · 22/05/2021 15:55

Good luck OP hope it goes really well for you. A big fuck off to all the Pearl clenchers 😡

Kittykat93 · 22/05/2021 15:58

I'd have chinese, and Indian and pizza and burgers and truffle mayo chips Grin

TrickyBiscuits · 22/05/2021 16:23

Full Indian takeaway, without a doubt. Followed by hot choc fudge cake and custard.

Enjoy your weekend OP, and good luck with the surgery 😊

AlfonsoTheTerrible · 22/05/2021 16:29

Oh, chocolate fudge cake. There's another possibility.

AlfonsoTheTerrible · 22/05/2021 16:31

And onion rings. Proper deep fried onion rings with light, crispy batter - not the onion rings with a thick bready crust that are cooked in the oven.

QueenOfCakeandCoffee · 22/05/2021 16:59

Definitely a Sunday roast and apple crumble for pud

toolazytothinkofausername · 22/05/2021 17:03

I know you’re not dying, but here’s a link for inspiration...

Curry tonight, with extra garlicky naan and chips. Sausage sandwich for breakfast. Chip shop for dinner tomorrow. In between I'd have a fresh cream doughnut, and a lemon tart. And a wispa gold

IHaveBrilloHair · 22/05/2021 17:06

Extra large chicken kebab, garlic sauce and chilli sauce, chips, onion rings and a veggie korma on the side maybe a lamb tikka starter too.
I'm not a dessert person but I'm sure I could manage some profiteroles and a couple of Portuguese custard tarts.
