Dd2 is finding that toothpaste makes her gag and feel nauseous, we're trying different brands but are wondering if there are ones we could try that are not mint flavoured

Aquafresh strawberry - my 5 year old likes it (I think it’s rank!)
Just gave a browse in a supermarket there are a few - bubblegum, strawberry etc.

Oral b do one with winnie the pooh on the tube, and Tesco used to have a strawberry own brand one, I don't know if they still do.

Oranurse is a low foam toothpaste with no flavour, kids' and adult versions. Had to get this for FIL due to lip infection a while ago but he stayed with it.

I just got my daughter the Colgate one, I believe it's like strawberry? It's got a kid on a scooter on the front Haha she loves it! I think it's not too bad either. I got 2 for £3 in superdrug

Toms of maine strawberry toothpaste is Dd's favorite.

Lindy2 · 21/05/2021 23:01

Mine use the Colgate strawberry one. I accidentally put it on my toothbrush tonight and I can confirm it is horrible but my kids inexplicably like it.

They just can't get on with mint flavour and if strawberry toothpaste means they brush their teeth, then it's ok with me.

Apparently there is also a lemon flavour. I think that might be nicer but I'm struggling to find anywhere that sells it.

You can also get a watermelon flavour one or a lemon grapefruit both by aquafresh senses (only £1 in Ocado)

Hopdathelf · 22/05/2021 15:19

Marvis do all sorts of flavours. Not cheap though.

The only one my son can manage is the strawberry flavour from wilkos. I stock up every few months, they have a mouth wash as well. It has a fluoride level of 1450 so dentist said he will be fine with it in the future.
