I'm looking for some ideas for my toddler DD to take to Pre-school. I would love to hear some suggestions.

Dds pre school prefer like cold types rather than soenthing the have to heat.

She has either
Bagel, sandwich, crackers.. With either cheese / ham /salami /dairylea
Crisps or a little bag of cookies etc
Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes all in a pot.
Apple bag and Banana
Yoghurt
Some cubed cheese.

The 'treat' part can be either cookies, ice gems, choc animals, angel slice, fairy cake, penguin type choc bar.. Basically whatever we have in the cupboard that particular day

She has a big appetite as they have am and pm snacks of fruit / breadsticks /cheese /veg sticks etc.

They've said she had the healthiest box of them all (altho theres 'bad' stuff in there)

They have 1 kid that has pot noodles and cakes tho otherwise she doesn't eat anything at all

Do you know if the lunch boxes are stored in a fridge or a cupboard?
The two easiest sandwich fillings for a toddler (cream cheese or hummus) might not taste that nice if they've got warm.

My toddler likes breadsticks, cheddar cheese, and apple slices as a combination.
My 5 year old says that the packed lunch kids that don't have sandwiches have little pots of pasta.

Cheese and veggie muffins or little baked frittate are a nice toddler size and can be batch cooked at the weekend.

I don't think DS1s school are allowed any treat type foods in the lunch boxes (but I'm not actually sure as he has school dinners).

My daughter has a combination of the following:

Main bit e.g. Half sandwich, bagel thin, wrap
Savory side e.g. houmous and breadsticks, babybel, mini sausages, cracker and cheese, sausage roll or mini cheddars
Fruit and/or veg (2 portions)
Sweet side: Mini malt loaf bars, flavored rice cakes, a biscuit or similar

She doesn't always eat it all, but

This is really great! Thank you everyone!

Please do keep them coming.

Packed lunches are stored in the fridge.
