Any chance of getting back payment made to dodgy website??!

Been scammed buying something on a fake website - is there any chance of getting the money back?!

The prices were in GBP (I spent £70) but it has come out my account in Euros. I cannot email the company to query (website does not allow) and I received no email receipt or tracking number - no proof of purchase at all. And item not delivered of course.

The website is:

www.jiffylocksmith.com

The payment came out of my account as: "men's and ladies clothing store", 76 Euros

I'm assuming it will just have to kiss this money goodbye and learn a well deserved lesson.

(And yes, I KNOW I'm a total dumbass, believe me I've heard that from my DP x 1000. And I would totally berate a friend for being so stupid, I have well and truly learnt my lesson. So embarrassing).

if it was credit card or paypal you have a good chance of getting it back

There's a contact us form on the website.
Or you can do a chargeback from your bank.

The contact form on the website does not actually work. It was a debit card rather than credit card but I will contact my bank and see what they say - it can't hurt!

Thank you both so much for bothering to post.

I'm pretty sure chargeback is possible on debit cards as well.
Good luck!
