I'm 35.

I’m 46 and I wear dungarees, I’ve had plenty of compliments whilst wearing them. They’re not everyones cup of tea but tbh I don’t give two hoots if anyone thinks I look ridiculous. They’re bloody comfy!

DownWhichOfLate · 21/05/2021 10:15

Flat bum - not so good. Do some butt shaping exercises! Also, apparently the Next girls dungarees are big enough for adults. Age 15 is good for size 8/10 and age 16 is good for size 12/14.

The answer to this question is always "yes", whatever your age or body type. Dungarees are amazing. Ignore the grumps.

megletthesecond · 21/05/2021 10:22

No.
They are only for crawling babies and toddlers.

CantGetNoSleep73 · 21/05/2021 14:27

Baggy ones look fab - the skinny ones I'm not so keen on. Each to their own though...
I've been lusting after some for ages - but haven't taken the plunge as yet, purely because I have broad shoulders and big boobs and would probably look like I'm wearing a sack Wink. I'm late 40's.

Get them if you want them who cares what anyone else thinks?

BogRollBOGOF · 21/05/2021 17:23

I look awesome in them at 40. Grin
Skinny jeans didn't get a look in after I got dungarees.

ILoveShula · 21/05/2021 17:30

I'm old enough to be OP's DM. I have several pairs.

JeanClaudeVanDammit · 21/05/2021 17:31

I’m too fat but if I were slim and didn’t have a ludicrously long torso I totally would. They’re not that much different to a jumpsuit really and jumpsuits have become firmly mainstream.

Strugglingtodomybest · 21/05/2021 17:34

I believe that everyone should wear whatever they damn well want. However, I will say that I think dungerees are really hard to look good in and normally only work, imo, if you are the artsyist of artsy people!

But like I say, wear what you want and fuck what other people think Grin

@KindergartenKop I believe it’s a help although I think width is also important. I have an hourglass shape - I think less pronounced the bottom the better in the case of dungarees.
