I didn't get a job I really wanted.

Cat is poorly and I'm worried. Vet said she can be seen tomorrow so it's not life threatening but she's obviously not happy.

Just ordered takeaway so I can eat my feelings.

Got sent home from work (school) to isolate for ten days as a close contact, and as well as worrying I’ve got Covid my first weekend of plans in 14m is fucked over.

Also, I can’t leave the house or garden and it’s not going to stop raining until I’m released.

Oh no @LividBlabber I work in a school too and I'm dreading this happening. Do you have to teach from home online?

Just found out I’m unexpectedly pregnant, my youngest is only 7 months. I was just gearing up to hand in my notice for the job that makes me so miserable but has excellent benefits, to take a very insecure role at a start up. Bugger.

Got a letter today from tax credits to say I have to pay back £600 of tax credits from April to august last year. DS started his funded hours in sept so we were no longer eligible for tax credits, but we've earned more the whole tax year because DH worked more hours every week than he was contracted (supervisor in a shop) because of covid.
I understand why I need to pay it back because it's based on our yearly income, but it's frustrating. I'll have to pay it back in instalments.

@Scrambledbeans how ethical are you feeling and do they deserve to be shafted?

Because it would be regrettable if you got a case of HG that started at six weeks and never abated

Woken up at 4am by 18 month old with a cold and feeling rotten myself
Got poor feedback on proposal I submitted at work. Struggling with lack of sleep.
Picked up LO from childminder, had pooey bottom and nappy rash for 3rd time this month but other childcare options limited.
Moaned at by builder who came to quote for asking for references, said we are the first to ask in 20 years and has now refused to do the job. I guess we had a narrow escape there though.

I'm being investigated by the DWP apparently, had a letter to say I have a compliance telephone call next Wednesday. Good news is that, thanks to youtube, I know how to tie a hangman's knot...

Woke up to ddog pooed over kitchen floor. Came home to more of the same and been out three times since 5pm! Maybe a vets call if no better tomorrow.

Have a thumping head, washing in the machine id forgotten about and our recycling blew down the road.

Oh and the new eye shadow is treated myself to in my boots order has arrived smashed and covered everything in a taupe powder!

I am so sorry everyone has had a crap day and I hope tomorrow is better. My son had a stoma at 6 and it now looks like it is failing and we are running out of options. Today his specialist mentioned a bag and the idea fills me with dread. Not the bag (we have been through so much already) but my mum had a bag fitted and never came home. She developed necrotizing facsiitis and died within 2 weeks of having it fitted. I know it irrational but I can't help it. Be fine tomorrow! Keep smiling

This morning I threw up in my hands when I thought I was just having a wee cough, and then I promptly had a bit of an ME crash and slept for four hours. I have a funding application due in tomorrow. Oh and the dog is being ratty and grumpy. Very ready for today to end!

Part of my takeaway is missing 😢

Getting over a stomach bug, feeling tired and out of sorts. My belly was so painful the other night I nearly called NHS 111.

Accepted a temp assignment to start next month and now the recruitment agent is ignoring my emails and calls after bombarding me with calls and emails over the last week.

DH wfh is really getting me down and there is no end in sight - think it could be permanent. I never get any space or the house to myself.

Looks like the weather has ruined my birthday plans :(

I still have pain in the middle of my lower back. It's day 7 after the vaccine now and it doesn't look like it's going away.

I feel shit in general. I also went out to buy chocolate mousse and chocolate biscuits. The shop and everyone in it annoyed me.

I feel bad now because my problems are nothing like justonestep's.

Thank you, he had his 8 year remission birthday last week so we do have the ups. Hope your 10 days fly and you are covid free. Hopefully it will even warm up for us all??

I’m not working (I lost my job and then we were shielding and now I can’t find anything part time). I have hit a wall of bored. I’m so fucking bored I could cry.
I’m lucky I don’t have to work. I just miss working. I miss people.
