Any idea how I can get a refund?

Booked flights in January 2020 pre covid. Trip postponed till July this year. Company has gone into liquidation.
My travel insurance won't cover it as the flights were covered by A protection scheme. The protection scheme referred me to the Civil aviation authority, who said I need to charge back my debit card. The back will not do this as it's out of their 120 day claim window.
Where do I go now. The company is Irish. I'm really annoyed!

I thought for pre dates purchases the 120 days is from the date of that being due so I think your bank could be wrong

I had quite a lengthy discussion with them yesterday and explained all the circumstances. So I doubt they are. But will have another look at their email.
