For instance, women are more emotional
Men are more aggressive
Women are more sensitive
Men don’t analyse relationships as much as women

Etc etc. There are always people who won’t fit these examples, but generally do you think they ring true?

Yes I think alot of them are true. My husband and I find it hilarious and it prevents alot of potential arguments!

Women are not more emotional in my view. Men are are more socially conditioned not to show a full range of emotions in public. Anger is an emotion after all. Go to any football match and sit in the most male crowd and tell me men aren’t emotional.

mostly male

Nope. It's social expectations and stereotypes.

I'd recommend reading The Gendered Brain by Gina Rippon

I'd recommend picking up a copy of Delusions of Gender or Testosterone Rex. There's no inherent difference between the secs, but there is a learnt one. Also we see things through a heavily gendered lens - Chaz made a good point, we don't see men as emotional because we've deliberately excluded times they are highly emotional from our definition of emotional.
